R100 Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband Scheme
Scottish government subsidised Superfast Satellite Broadband voucher scheme from Bentley Walker Freedomsat connecting rural and remote communities to superfast broadband internet.
What is the R100 Superfast Broadband Scheme?
The Reaching 100% (R100) programme builds on the success of the Superfast Broadband (DSSB) programme that continues to bring access to fibre broadband to homes and businesses across Scotland with more than 950,000 reached so far.
Anyone not able to access Superfast broadband through the R100 programme by the end of 2021 are eligible to the Interim Voucher Scheme so that better speeds can be accessed at your home or business while you are waiting for the deployment of your superfast connection.
Interim Vouchers are available as a one-off contribution to the capital cost of the supply and installation of a superfast capable satellite broadband service. An additional £250 is available for non-standard installations (for example challenging terrain, no line-of-sight, or remote islands).
After the equipment has been installed, the broadband package is supplied by monthly subscription and Bentley Walker have partnered with the satellite operator Avanti Communications to create a bespoke offering for the R100 programmed on their Freedomsat service platform as defined below.
*Package prices are inclusive of VAT.
How Do I Proceed?
The R100 scheme is now closed to new applications but we can still work with you to provide reliable 4G and satellite broadband connectivity to your home or business. Contact us today or complete the below form with your requirements and a member of our team will get in touch to discuss your options.
De minimis State aid
The Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme funding is a form of EU State aid, and it will count towards any Small or Medium sized Enterprise (SME) beneficiary’s overall De minimis aid allowance. As part of the voucher claim process any SME beneficiary will be asked to provide confirmation that they have not exceeded their De minimis aid allowance. Any SME beneficiary that has previously received aid under De minimis exemption, will have been informed of the amount of aid that they have been in receipt of. Most SME beneficiaries can receive up to €200,000 of De minimis aid over a three-year period. The De minimis aid rules affect SME beneficiaries in some sectors differently: if they operate in mining, transport, agriculture, or fisheries sectors, then they should check their eligibility.
